Rick Moretti's love for seafood began during his childhood in Sea Isle City. He grew up near Carmen Conti, the owner of Carmen's in Sea Isle City, and first worked with Carmen on his boat, The Lobster Boy. As he got older, Rick began working in the restaurant and fish market. It was there that he met Colleen Lake, who would later become his wife.
In 1985, Rick established his own fish market, Rick's Seafood. The most popular dishes on the menu were prepared by Rick's mother, Theresa Moretti, whose recipes for Deviled Crabs and crab chowder are still used today. Rick and Colleen remain dedicated to their business and customers, just as they were on the day they opened their doors.
